Sense8 is an Original Netflix series by the Wachowskis. It's hard to put it in a box. It looks like sci-fi, but touches on religion, gender issues, multiculturalism and even Korean underground fighting.
To convey its broad appeal, we created SENSE8 DECODED: a series of short interviews with eight experts on various fields to explain the world beyond the series. The goal was to make sure everyone felt connected to it in some way.

The interviews were done by João Wainer, one of Brazil's top documentarists.
Here, I had two of the videos subtitled in English, just for you.
The videos were posted on Facebook throughout three weeks.
We also created a website where the audience could watch the videos and discover more about each specialist.
The project was a big success with the public and generated some cool earned media for Netflix. You can see some results here:

We did interviews with eight specialists, but only seven videos were released: the eighth specialist died before the project was launched.
Waldo Vieira was a doctor and medium who created a new religion based on the power of the unknown and founded a whole district in the South of Brazil, called Cognopolis. His interview discussed paranormal powers and the possibility of telepathy. R.I.P.
What I learned working on this project:
This project was basically advertising utopia: fun brand, fun project, meeting interesting people, working with a longtime idol (João Wainer), happy with the result and not a lot of stress. I guess I learned this kind of thing really does happen. Whew.
